California Employers: As a reminder, on January 1 some changes take effect to California law relating to covered reasons for sick time, and violence leave/accommodations.

In both instances, hackers were able to install ransomware on the covered entities’ systems that allowed them to access individuals’ PHI. New York and California Employers: A reminder that minimum salary requirements for overtime exemption eligibility are about to change.
