Missouri Employers: As previously reported on PERKS, on May 1, 2025, a statewide paid sick leave mandate went into effect in Missouri. However, more recently, the legislature passed a bill to repeal the mandate.

If signed by the Governor (which is expected), the bill will terminate Missouri employers’ paid sick leave obligations effective August 28, 2025.

While employers remain bound by the mandate for the time being, stay tuned for further updates!
