California employers: Reminder that if you have at least 100 employees, you are required to report pay data information for employees and labor contractors to California’s Civil Rights Department.
California recently updated these requirements to include new templates to help employers comply with the reporting requirements. The employee template now reflects additional data points that must be included related to the number of employees who work onsite, work remotely from California, and work remotely outside California. The submission deadline for this year’s reporting is May 8, 2024, so now is a good time to start preparing so that you have plenty of time to meet the deadline.
